5 Artists Show The Power Of Visual Narratives
Words — oral or written — may be an important source of communication. But, in the world of arts, images and graphics have their own power. A new group exhibition in the capital explores the graphic medium, engaging viewers with fascinating visual narratives. From mythological tales and a Khasi graphic novel to drawings reminiscent of children’s books and animations, the five artists — Paul Bill Barritt, Treibor Mawlong, Bakula Nayak, Renuka Rajiv and Shrimanti Saha — provide a window into innovative ways of storytelling. Who said art couldn’t be a language in itself?
At the turn of a Page is on display at Vadehra Art Gallery, New Delhi until June 30, 2016.
