New-Age Banarasi: Ekaya Continues to Challenge The Status Quo Through Its Collaborations

Artists sheds light on the creative processes and inner workings of the brand that has, for over 10 years now, been consistently creating mood boards that present age-old Banarasi textiles in a new light

On display was the brand’s intent to play up the Indianness, as its creative director of women’s lines, Maria Grazia Chiuri, sank her teeth into all that the city and country have to offer.
