International Impact: Indra Nooyi
Fifteenth on Forbes’ 2015 list of most powerful women in the world, Indra Nooyi, PepsiCo’s first Indian-born CEO, made history this year when she became the biggest alumni donor at the Yale School of Management — and the first woman in the world to donate a deanship to a top business college. ‘My gift to this wonderful institution pales in comparison with the gift that Yale gave me….’ said Nooyi, appreciating her alma mater.
Game On: During her free time, Nooyi enjoys watching the New York Yankees in action, and also likes playing rummy with her children. Bridge, Scrabble and sudoku are other games she enjoys playing online.
Maternal Instincts: Nooyi had once remarked that every time her children call her at work, she stops to answer the phone — even if it’s for something as simple as asking if they could play video games.
