Baking up a storm

Catering to the Who’s Who of Mumbai is a norm for Pooja Dhingra whose Le 15 creates luscious tarts and delicious bakes for gourmands

The Le 15 patisserie is every gourmet’s destination for artfully created macaroons, delectable cupcakes and luscious tarts. The brainchild of 24-year-old Pooja Dhingra (a graduate of the Cordon Bleu Paris), she says, “My parents let me nurture my dream. Without their support I would not have been able to develop an authentic French-style patisserie for food aficionados in Mumbai.” Catering to A-list clients like Nita Ambani, Shilpa Shetty and Neeta Lulla is the norm for this vibrant entrepreneur.  Pooja spends long hours cooking up delicacies in her kitchen but feels amply rewarded when she sees a smile on people’s faces. She reads and practices yoga. Apart from expanding the scope of her business, Pooja is keen on penning a book, time permitting. “I do not believe in compromising on quality or creativity, she emphasises.”
