Verve steers clear of traditional silhouettes as it presents a radical take on holiday dressing through the lens of unexpected eccentric pairings

As the usual onslaught of festive edits takes over our screens this party season, we playfully subvert classic looks and cuts — like say, the LBD — typically featuring rich textured fabrics like velvet in colours like black and gold and infuse them with styling twists that challenge the cookie-cutter looks peppered across media. The surrealism of the shoot is intended to nudge one to break the mould by mixing and matching items in one’s closet and put one’s best foot forward with the dawn of the new year....
