This engineering graduate was born on Diwali day and, for the past year, the firecracker has been scorching the ramp with her looks. Verve’s very own May 2015 cover girl, Pooja Mor was spotted by Anima Creative Management and signed on in March 2014 — and has since made heads turn with each assignment on and off the ramp. The Gujarati lass, by her own admission, had to practise walking in heels before her debut strut at Wills Fashion Week 2014.

And a little over a year into her career she’s walked the ramp in Palm Springs for legendary fashion house Louis Vuitton, and has been featured on an international website run by reputed names from the style world. We’re definitely waiting for more from this looker.

WALKING THE RAMP FOR LV: “It was a dream come true. The event was at Bob Hope’s house at sunset. It was amazing — every look was so empowering — and I loved the olive green outfit with the flowy skirt and a hint of white in the end. It felt like some other world.”

FASHION ICONS: “Linda Evangelista, I am getting obsessed with her, she’s a stunner. I like Blake Lively for her style on red carpets and Coco Rocha as she is such a good performer in front of the camera.”

LOOKING FORWARD TO: “Working hard and doing my job in the best way I can, travelling more, and learning different languages and cultures.”
