After stealing hearts in The Lunchbox, she packed a punch on the fourth season of the American TV show, Homeland

She made tons of men fall in love with her charming smile in a chocolate ad, and then gained further recognition with The Lunchbox. One assumed that several films would follow for Nimrat Kaur. But instead, she signed a negative role in the fourth season of US television drama, Homeland. As shrewd ISI Officer Tasneem Qureshi, she shared screen space with the Emmy award-winning Claire Danes. Kaur shot in South Africa last year for the American series, in which audiences loved to hate her character.

BREAKING BAD: “I found it interesting to play an antagonist — to be on par with the lead, in terms of strength. It sounded like a really crackling part to be able to pull off. I was both nervous and excited.”

ON THE EXPERIENCE: “It was very enriching. I was surrounded by some of the biggest names in the American industry and it was both humbling and incredible. They are always open to suggestions and changes.”
