Za, The Premium Beauty brand from the House of Shiseido in jewelry designer Mrinalini Chandra, presented exclusively designed cases of Za True White Two Way Foundation. 2014. Inspired by the Beauty of Nature and the art forms of India and Japan, Mrinalini handcrafted elegant and exquisite art with Za’s foundation cases as her canvas.

“I am thrilled about the collaboration with Za to create a one of a kind collection and explore the art of jewelry designing beyond the horizon of fashion,” she said talking about her experience. “For this collection, the designs that I have created are inspired by kirigami, a Japanese variant of origami. This is the unique style that I have adopted to cut the metal into various patterns. All the designs are inspired by different elements of nature, be it parrots, butterflies or flowers,” she added.

Mrinalini Chandra will continue to design bespoke pieces of Za True White Two Way Foundation case to be retailed out of exclusive stores from January 2015. The proceeds from the sale of these handcrafted limited edition Za cases will be donated towards the revival of Nakkashi art, a cause close to Mrinalini Chandra.
