The setting? London, in the boudoir-like atmosphere of an actress’ dressing room.

In the second episode of Chanel Beauty Talks, Lucia Pica (global creative make-up and colour designer for Chanel) transforms British actress Keira Knightley into the modern incarnation of the vamp, deconstructing the glamorous look of the 30s. ‘I very much live in the world of the character when I’m making a film…I love something that is powerful,’ says Keira. She shares, among other things, her film obsessions which include Katherine Hepburn. The two women also share tips on everything from blending eyeshadows to wearing dark lipsticks and getting a glossy finish.
