If you want to imbibe its pure and calm spirit, keep your face dewy fresh, eyes wide open and lips neutral. “Use make-up that enhances the luminosity of the skin. Don’t forget to add some drama with mascara on the lashes,” states Sarwate who had experimented with an orange eyeliner on the waterline for designer Pallavi Mohan’s collection. But if you are game for some serious fun, white is like a blank canvas. “You can play with the brightest and deepest lip and nail hues when wearing white. A pop of colour can liven up your entire look,” adds Fernandes. To make a strong beauty statement, Nischol suggests letting your eyes go the graphic route with bold red lips. Or opt for a sculpted bronzed complexion with a tangerine mouth.
