LFW Ramp Watch: Rajesh Pratap Singh
One can easily say that this has by far been the most experimental collection by the veteran designer. The clash of pastels with metallics on androgynous silhouettes in indigenous fabrics is quite a handful to balance. But Rajesh, the master craftsman that he is, did it with ease as he used age old techniques with newer materials like aluminum, steel, silver, paper, mirror and metallic yarns.
HIGHPOINTS: The smooth transition of the colour story and shapes throughout the show were a delight to watch.
SCOPE: The kaleidoscope like set-up was visually interesting and in sync with his concept of creating illusions, but a bit distracting at times, taking the focus away from the ensembles.
