Super-styling, an out-of-the-box pattern and fashion-forward ensembles made the designer-duo’s showing a ten on ten. Shikha and Vinita managed to impress us with their choice of motif – a nominal paper cut-out of human beings holding hands – that dominated the collection printed in clever moderation. The unadulterated silhouettes were given a touch of unconventionality through a careful pairing such as the bomber jacket teamed with a sari or a pleated shirtdress worn with a cropped jacket. Each ensemble translated a powerful statement of effortless chic with wearable separates whether it was the midi-skirts, tent blouses with bell sleeves or the white front-open cape.
