Taiwan isn’t just about its night markets and street shopping. This weekend, the island nation will witness an artistic takeover with the 22nd edition of Art Taipei, the grandest one to date.

Works of master surrealists Salvador Dali and Marc Chagall will take centre stage, and art aficionados will also get to view works from 168 galleries from around the world. And Indian art lovers, not to worry. The desi presence will be fulfilled by the showcase of Indian artist Rina Banerjee’s works. Represented by Ota Fine Arts, Banerjee has created an installation built with found objects for the fair. With a bumper line up of exhibits, the event is sure to live up to its slogan, ‘Rooted in Asia, Reaching the World’.

Art Taipei is on display at Taipei World Trade Center, Taiwan until November 2, 2015.
