The India Art Fair, one of the country’s most contemporary art festivals, is back in New Delhi in its seventh year, offering the best of India’s art and artists to viewers. Over 85 galleries, including Sakshi Gallery, Volte Art Projects, Art Alive Gallery and Vadehra Art Gallery among several others, will display their artworks at 90 booths. Art aficionados can expect to see paintings, sculptures, works in new media, performance art and installations by artists from all over the country.
Speakers forums, artistic projects, workshops and book launches will complete the event line-up at the fair.
Says Sandy Angus, co-owner of the India Art Fair, “India has a lot to offer in terms of its rich art history and its dynamic contemporary art scene, and India Art Fair is focussed on bringing together the broadest representation of quality works in a well curated and presented environment that will appeal to a cross section of collectors and the general visiting public alike.”
The India Art Fair 2015 will take place at NSIC Exhibition Grounds, New Delhi, starting today to February 1, 2015.
