What’s happening at Delhi Photo Festival 2015?
Photography fanatics, rejoice. Nazar Foundation’s biennial festival is back this year, with the theme ‘Aspire’. The 10-day event will have over 40 exhibitions by photographers from across the world, from Iran’s Abdollah Heidari and Austria’s Regina Anzenberger to France’s Olivier Culmann and India’s very own Raghu Rai; the last will be sharing images from his personal albums. And if those shows don’t satiate your appetite, there are 14 exhibitions in the newly initiated ‘student category’, where young camera wielders from across the world will showcase their creations. As always, viewers can catch several talks, performances, workshops, gallery walks and screenings across the venues.
Delhi Photo Festival 2015 is staking place at Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, New Delhi, from October 30 to November 8, 2015. |
