For making rock ’n’ roll an indispensable part of her onstage get-up

Singer; ex-VJ; made her acting debut with Bollywood drama Angry Indian Goddesses; Mumbai.

Current fashion phase
Monotone…minimal…white.

Labels on your radar
Currently I’m digging Antar-Agni, Altuzarra and Protagonist.

Shopping destinations
The Source — where designers put up stalls to showcase their latest collections — at fashion weeks, Instagram and little boutiques in Brooklyn and Melrose.

Wardrobe Treasures
Vintage Ray-Ban sunglasses that I found at a flea market.

A fashion dud moment
Leg warmers. That’s all I’m gonna say.

A sartorial thumb rule
Don’t wear it if you don’t feel it.

Planned or spontaneous dressing
Mood-based dressing.

Your favourite dressing-up song
Sunshine by the Teddybears.

Current lust list
Extaball shoes from Adidas, in all colours. A beautiful black and white graphic rug by BoConcept and all the lingerie from For Love & Lemons.

What’s fashion got to do with music
What I wear is an extension of my voice as an artiste and of my personality. Being a musician gives you the license to go all out, and it would be crazy not to make the most of that!
