How To: Wear Sunset Hues

This season saw a surge of sunset shades, whites, blues and nudes on the ramp. Verve speaks to make-up experts on how to dress your face while you slip into haute runway colours

Colour Code
A touch of metallic enhances the beauty of these bright colours. “When wearing colours in sunset tones, keep the make-up really simple. A metallic gold eyeshadow or a liner against minimal foundation would look great,” says Sonic Sarwate, global senior artist, M.A.C India. The bronzed look also gets a thumbs up from Natasha Nischol, the official Lakmé make-up expert who is also the co-owner and co-founder of Fat Mu. Make-up artist Clint Fernandes, a regular at the fashion weeks, feels that defined kohl eyes bring out the vibrancy of this warm palette.

Beauty Tip
If you are shy of the bronzer, you can use the shade only on your eyes, lightly dusted for daywear or blended well for a smokey-eyed look for a night out. Leave the lips nude.
