Cara Delevingne opened the show at Milan Fashion Week, walking down a runway that was made to resemble a two-laned white-lined highway. Mimicking the archways at the Palazzo della Civilta (the new Fendi headquarters in Rome), a symbiosis of fashion and architecture stood out as Karl Lagerfeld orchestrated this daring, yet playful collection.

Fendi showcased its lighter side with an outing of orchid adorned mini-dresses and bomber jackets. Architectural elements sprouted in the form of dresses crafted to resemble the Palazzo archways. Making an edgy appearance were sliced fringe tops and suede jackets with lacquered spray paint effect.

As expected, the bags were a huge attraction featuring the iconic Baguette, this time encrusted with gems. A tiny Peekaboo arrived in multiple finishes, along with the lovable Karlito Bag Boy charms.
