No one can beat this young designer-duo when it comes to re-inventing their forte each season – prints. Innovating patterns and translating their story through them, which are as discreet as they are effective, makes them a team with a difference. From the colour palette, silhouettes, prints to fabrics, all elements of this line worked to make an understated yet powerful statement. Rabindra Nath Tagore’s handwritten scripts, pebbles, Moroccan mosaic and floral patterns were harmonised together in clever moderation to bring alive the functional ensembles. They managed to give new relevance to traditional shapes with modern cuts but lacked consistency of similar thought in many ensembles. The printed pantsuit, the red full-length dress with a sheer cape and the menswear ensembles deserve a special mention.
