The inception: For founder Hina Oomer-Ahmed, a Mumbai-based personal stylist with a diploma in image consulting from New York, curating gift hampers was a natural extension of her inherent aesthetic. While she was cognisant of the market for subscription boxes, she was perceptive enough to find her niche in the luxury gifting space. She played to her strengths and combined different items which had their own utility, but when presented together, provided a spectacular experience to the recipient.

Quirkiest creations: “For a gentleman’s 40th birthday, which had a classic black and white theme, I put together a combination of bespoke products that included a sleek black tie, an aftershave balm and a vintage silver-embossed black diary. Since the man considered himself a fitness fiend, the hamper was topped off with chocolate chip granola, almond butter and body massage oil.
The floral boxes are my personal favourites wherein I incorporate products associated with a recipient’s favourite flower. In it, I include fragrant floral combinations which usually go with a corresponding perfume so that the person has a beautiful box of their favourite scent at hand.”
