Alicia Vikander
Alicia Vikander was seen in clashing fabrics straight off Louis Vuitton’s utilitarian range. We’re fans of the layered jewellery, but we would have loved to see sky-high stilettos instead of combat boots.
Bee Shaffer
Bee Shaffer sported an Asian-inspired floral gown from Alexander McQueen. She looked regal with a Grecian headband and on-point make-up.
Beyonce Knowles
Queen Bey slayed in that nude latex gown from Givenchy. The skin-tight ensemble was a pleasant departure from last year’s sheer gown. We’re loving the smokey eye and super sleek blowout.
Claire Danes
Taking technology to the next level, Claire Danes enjoyed her princess moment in a fiber optic Zac Posen gown. We loved the silhouette, beautiful shade of blue and the fact that it glows!
Emma Stone
Emma Stone brought her A-game with this gladiator-inspired gown from Prada. She sported Lorraine Schwartz jewellery, Christian Louboutin shoes and that jet-black lob.
Emma Watson
It’s not just this trouser-gown that will blow your mind, but the fact that it’s made of recycled plastic bottles. Emma Watson stole the show in this Calvin Klein 5-piece sustainable ensemble.
Florence Welch
Florence Welsh sported a two-toned shimmery gown from Gucci. We’re loving the minimal make-up and spring-summer look.
Jessica Chastain
Jessica Chastain donned a voluminous royal blue gown from Prada. Embellished with 18th century crystal embroidery and latticework, she paired it well with Piaget jewellery and Brian Atwood shoes.
Karlie Kloss
Karlie Kloss showed off her perfectly toned body in this Brandon Maxwell gown. The choker neck and huge cutouts earned her brownie points on the red carpet.
Kate Hudson
Kate Hudson sported a brazen Barbie look in Atelier Versace. Boasting of daring cutouts, she let her hair loose in waves and stuck to nude make-up.
Katy Perry
Rocking an outlandish look, Katy Perry sported a wild Prada gown covered in gold hardware and sequins. Her hair was put up in a high-bun, and she took it a notch further with bleached eyebrows.
Kylie Jenner
Kylie Jenner donned a Balmain gown with sheer embellishments, fringes and sequins. We cannot miss the underboob effect here, or her sophisticated look that’s quite a win for a first-timer at the Gala.
Miranda Kerr
Miranda Kerr showed off her midriff in a stunning Louis Vuitton two-piece. Opting for a more Gothic look, she sported a berry lip and stunning braids.
Nicole Kidman
Nicole Kidman sported a galactic gown from Alexander McQueen. With moons and stars as embellishments, it was complemented with a fitting cape and she paired it well with a braided updo and a crown.
Poppy Delevingne
Poppy Delevingne lead the best-dressed brigade in an extremely tantalising gown. Leaving little to the imagination, it was loaded with opulent gemstones and tiered fringes. She paired it with a vampy pout and dramatic smokey eyes.
Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift rocked her beach-blonde bob and paired it with a shimmery snakeskin dress from Louis Vuitton. Her gladiators and deep red lip gave it a cool Gothic vibe.
Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid
Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid
Making their debut at the MET Gala, Zayn Malik sported Atelier Versace and Gigi Hadid looked stunning in Tommy Hilfiger.
Zoe Saldana
Zoe Saldana lead the fashion pack in this dramatic gown from Dolce and Gabbana. Styled way better than Rihanna last year, the lovely train and perfect make-up made this one an absolute win.
