It’s not only words that one can use to tell stories – images do that too. In a new exhibition presented by Great Banyan Art in the capital, 40 artists from 15 countries across the world use their paintbrushes to wield fascinating tales. Through their narrative artworks, the painters whose works are on display intend to blur social and cultural boundaries, and revive the ancient art of visual storytelling.
The participating artists hail from USA, Germany, France, Spain, Netherlands, Turkey, Poland, Norway, Ukraine, Lithuania, Korea, China, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Philippines.
Tales of Art is on display at Gallery @ 1AQ, New Delhi (Qutab Minar Roundabout, Mehrauli) until April 4, 2016
