Is intimacy just about the human body? In a new group show, thirteen artists interpret sexuality, intimacy and facets of the human psyche that relate to interpersonal relationships. Including works by Bijay Biswaal, Ghanshyam Latua, Ishan Khosla, Kunal Batra, Wasim Kapoor, Manoj Dwivedi, Renuka Sodhi Gulati, Shiffali Wadhawan and Tashi Norbu among others, the 21 artworks in the show delve deeper into human connections and make the viewer ponder about the true meaning of intimacy. As Amrita Varma, co-founder of Delhi’s Egg Art Studio says, ‘Satin looks at arousal and intimacy with a joy, beauty and grace it deserves…. Satin takes its roots from this thought, in the sense that it is giving the audience an introduction to something slightly beyond the human form whilst giving due value to the human form in its own right’.

Satin is on display at The Egg Art Studio, New Delhi (The Atrium, Narain Manzil, 23, Barakhamba Road) until October 17, 2016
