Battle of the Dubsmashers

Chances are you’ve already Dubsmashed to Uptown Funk and ‘On Wednesdays we wear pink’. Dubsmash, the trending app has made it to our list of addictions, simply because you can take a selfie video and lip-sync to songs, movie dialogues and look particularly ridiculous and funny at the same time.

The app that launched last November has given netizens a new way to engage in unproductive business. But what we actually enjoy besides the ever popular ‘Tareekh pe tareekh’ and other Bollywood clips, are celebrity Dubsmash videos on Instagram. For those who aren’t in the loop, Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh created their own dub as part of the promotions for Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do.
