View 110 Rare Artworks By Akbar Padamsee

Text by Huzan Tata

Explore the works of a great modernist

He’s counted among India’s artistic stalwarts, and it’s easy to see why. Painting, printmaking, sculpting, and photographing — Akbar Padamsee has done it all in his six-decade-long career. A new book, Where The Lines Fall, written by culturist Nancy Adajania and gallerist Priyasri Patodia, chronicles the man’s life and art — and the exhibition, in conjunction with its launch, includes 110 rare black-and-white artworks created by the master between 1992 and 2016. Here’s the chance to explore the works of a great modernist.

The exhibition is on display at Priyasri Art Gallery, Mumbai until May 15, 2016.
