Verve Wanderer Terms and Conditions

● This contest is open to only travel writers and bloggers only who are residents of India.

● Closing date for Round one submission is 25th August, 2015. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted. Closing date for round 2 is 14th September, 2015

● The writer/blogger is admissible only one entry to the competition.

● The experience of the winner will be featured as a story on www.vervemagazine.in (and or Verve’s social media platforms) subject to editorial approval.

● The winner’s featured story will be based on his experiences at the Grand Mercure Goa Shrem resort and personal experiences in Goa, with a unique or interesting take on the same.

● The insta-takeover will be executed as a special on one weekend as part of Verve’s weekly travel weekend of the blogger/writer’s experience in Goa.

● Submissions/content must be developed by the participant and must not violate the rights of any other party, including but not limited to intellectual property rights or rights of privacy, publicity or other moral rights. Submissions must NOT contain: (a) advertising or commercial content for any party other than Context; (b) content that endorses/promotes illegal or harmful activity; (c) violent, profane, vulgar, obscene or otherwise objectionable material; (d) adult material; or (e) defamatory content. We reserve the right to disqualify any participant who violates these prohibitions, or that we deem inappropriate for any reason, in their sole discretion.

● The winner of the competition will receive a stay at Grand Mercure Goa Shrem Resorts for 2 nights, 3 days which will be inclusive of breakfast and lunch or dinner. The winner will commit expenses of all air ticket, transfers and all inbound travel at their own personal expense.

● The winner’s stay at the Grand Mercure Shrem Resort will be on a double occupancy basis. The travel companion must be 21 years of age and older.

● The winner and his/her travelling companion are solely responsible for all costs not expressly described herein including, without limitation, air transportation, meals and beverages (except as described herein), alcohal, room service, merchandise, telephone calls, insurance together with any required travel documentation, and all personal expenses of any kind or nature.

● The winner must avail the voucher within 6 months of the issue date.

● In case of any damage to the hotel property, the winner of the contest must incur the expenses to repair the same. Damage will be determined by Grand Mercure Shrem Resort and this determination must be accepted by the winner.

● Room availability at the Grand Mercure Goa Shrem Resorts is subject and change without notice or compensation.

● There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

● Verve has the right to eliminate any offensive content and any other content which doesn’t fit the criterion of the contest.

● Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via www.vervemagazine.in only.

● No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

● If you win a competition, we will notify you by email, or social media if you entered the competition on a social media platform, within 48 working hours of the closing date. If you do not respond within 48 hours of being notified, you will forfeit your prize and Verve magazine reserves the right to choose another winner. The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

● The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.

● Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

● By entering the contest and submitting a Submission and any other personal information, participants are expressly consenting to the processing of their personal information by Context for the purpose of the Contest or any associated publicity. Participants agree: (a) to be bound by these Official Rules and all decisions of the judges, which are final and binding; (b) that any disputes shall be governed by the laws of India, and shall be resolved only in the courts in India, without resort to any form of class action or other form of collective action, to the extent permitted by applicable law; and (c) that they consent and waive any objection to the jurisdiction of said courts for any such disputes.

● The Contest is void where prohibited. If any terms or provisions of these Official Rules are held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Verve may suspend, modify or terminate the Contest if they believe, in their sole discretion, that malfunction, error, disruption or damage is impairing or will impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, in which case the prizes will be awarded among the eligible entries received that were unaffected by the problem, if possible.

● This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Verve magazine and not to any other party.
