Power Trendsetter: Deepika Padukone

A regular member of the 100-crore club, Bollywood’s shining star Deepika Padukone will now be seen sharing the screen with Vin Diesel in Hollywood action flick xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. Be it alongside the energetic Ranveer, versatile Ranbir or the mighty Mr Bachchan, the talented actor has held her own.

On script essentials: She looks at connecting with the larger story.  To her, a narration is like watching a movie and her reaction, an instinctive one like that of an audience. Her focus lies on her character, on how challenging it is and what she can bring to the table.

On relationships: ‘I’ve been exposed to various kinds of equations that can exist between people. There are all kinds of relationships. I may not personally endorse them but I’ve begun to accept and understand that it’s all okay. I’m nobody to judge.’
