For sisters Kaabia and Sasha Grewal, jewellery designing was all about creating bespoke ornaments for close friends and relatives till they decided to come out of their comfort zone to start their own label – Outhouse.

After a degree in designing precious jewellery and manufacturing from IIGJ, both the sisters went their separate paths with Sasha designing for high street fashion brands and Kaabia off to New York to pursue her interest in gemology.

Their design process is simple: “We get inspired from different things all the time. Each line has a different interpretation depending on the mood. The idea is to break the monotony of your wardrobe by infusing various elements,” says Kaabia who believes that both the saisters are creative in their own ways but quite still similar in their taste as both love Gauri & Nainika and Manish Arora’s work immensely. They follow Blake Lively for her sassy boldness and Sonam Kapoor for her effortless style. Trying to outshine each other with their personal styles is a part of their everyday sibling rivalry!
