For achieving restraint and extravagance through a relaxed look

Senior hairstylist at Metodo Rossano Ferretti Salon at Four Seasons; known for her girl-next-door-meets-luxe vibe; Mumbai.

Signature style
Definitely more comfort-driven and effortless. I like to have fun with fashion, yet it has to have individuality.

A trend you wish worked for you
I can’t do rock ’n’ roll. I love its edginess…love the boots, straight pants or the skinny-jeans look…I like trying it but don’t go heavy on it.

A sartorial thumb rule
Simplicity is the key; less is more. It is always better to enhance one aspect than to look like a Christmas tree.

Favourite Indian designer
Anand Kabra; I admire his work.

Best-dressed moment
At my friend’s wedding, the theme being The Great Gatsby, I wore a gold dress by Raakesh Agarvwal, which I borrowed from a friend, along with a hair piece, burgundy lips and retro eyes.

Secret to great hair
One doesn’t really need to style hair, if it is cut well. Also, I refrain from touching my tresses as it results in frizz.

Style Mantra
What works for you may not for me. I truly believe that.

Pet Peeve
I don’t do chipped nail polish.

Most fashionable on-screen
I love the way Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) dresses up in House of Cards — very powerful, sophisticated and edgy.
