With more challenging roles coming her way, dancer-actor Aditi Rao Hydari is saving her best moves to surprise her audience

Her upcoming movie London, Paris, New York opposite Ali Zafar of Tere Bin Laden fame is what is keeping Aditi Rao Hydari busy these days, but she has already wowed the critics with her performance in Rockstar, Yeh Saali Zindagi and earlier in Delhi-6.

Spotted during a dance performance in Chennai, Aditi’s first movie Sringaram was in Tamil, An offer she had initially refused, the film went to several festivals and won many awards, including a few for her dancing skills.

Music and dance is her core and Aditi can never part with it: “Acting is how it all comes together and finds an expression,” says the trained Bharata Natyam dancer.  Her heart’s desire? A role of a dancer and warrior princess in an Indian version of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

Aditi kick-starts her day with an awful, bitter-tasting super healthy juice along with chyawanprash and an hour of yoga. During her leisure hours, she loves to cook for family and friends, design spaces, play Pictionary and Taboo and lie  on a hammock by the sea to read.
