WIFW Fashion Report: Namrata Joshipura
The grand finale that took glamour by its neck, slapped it around and gave it a fierceness that prowled the ramp with lethal allure. Bodysuits, gloves, metallic mouths, knee-high boots and sky high hairdos all rose to the occasion and amplified the distinct bold message that Joshipura strove to deliver. Leather naturally played a big, fearless role; slit to thigh in a hue of oxblood, embellished with black and layered with more black. Super sheer long dresses with key surface texture placement highlighted the female form in all her glory – an ebony 1920s inspired sheath gown with a fringing like detail was as sensual as it was red carpet worthy.
