LFW Ramp Watch: Payal Singhal
Payal’s effortless transition into a more contemporary space whilst keeping her signature aesthetic in place is not something many designers can achieve in a short span of time. Playing on her strengths, she used subtle embroidery and thematic prints in innovative silhouettes like the churidar-skirts which were teamed with cholis, cut-out shoulder tops, ankle length linen shirt dresses, raised hem tulle kurtas and the ghaghra-sharara pants.
HIGHPOINTS: Clean crisp rail-friendly separates. A fine blend of the old and the new.
SCOPE: A fresher inspiration; a newer take on the print on print technique.
