On her design philosophy
My label creates designs that have the power to permeate barriers and dissolve all stereotypes, working with concepts and transforming them into tactile pieces. Through my design process, I envision my creations to play the role of healers, providing the wearer with freedom, comfort and an intangible yet omnipresent sense of emotional empowerment. I believe in fashion that is effortless, ethical, sustainable and gender fluid.”

On her showcase at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2017
“My collection titled Sonagachi after the red-light district represents an unstoppable, unbeatable army of warriors who march ahead in helmets and flowy uniforms. The strong, fierce, nameless, ageless and genderless silhouettes issue a collective call for identity, respect and recognition.”
