His collections are never less than works of art. The veteran designer went a step further this time to celebrate fashion and art together as he translated miniature paintings by noted artists, The Singh Twins, into functional fashion. This fun and playful collection included up-to-minute silhouettes and ensembles such as the dhoti and the lungi skirts, high-waisted shorts, asymmetrical flowy dresses, midi skirts paired with t-shape crop-tops – all embodying a ubiquitous traditional aesthetic achieved by cautious styling. While the menswear line was undoubtedly the highlight of the collection, the womenswear range had its share of high and low points.
