Designer Focus: Sneha Arora

The designer climbed up the ladder with this impeccable show. For an up-coming designer like her, Arora truly won us over. She has captured the summer vibe perfectly with a palette of soft pastels, statement prints, light fabrics and feminine shapes. Patterns reflecting nature and opposing technology such as floral stems in bulbs and soda bottles, and trees with falling leaves were placed selectively on dresses, midi-skirts and silk shirts. The impact of an understated collection was further heightened with fresh hues such as mellow yellows, dull mints and blush pinks. We loved the minimalist undertone of Arora’s line marked by functional separates, effortless styling and some new silhouettes that became our favourites instantly – a yellow trouser suit and a printed white dress. The see-through accessories served the purpose of a cherry on the cake.
