Vintage charm got a new lease of life with designer-duo Poco and Jacky’s cutting-edge creations. Their debut collection seamlessly merged contemporary with classics to create a New-Age sari, a clean cut shirt dress combined with floral embellished pants and a vintage-meets-modern faux leather skirt – quite an impressive attempt by the first timers. The uber-chic silhouettes in experimental shades of teal, moss green and ochre brought life to fluid fabrics that were embellished with unconventional techniques of beading and weaving. While the young designers have shown great potential through their womenswear, menswear wasn’t their strongest point.
