She sure has no competition when it comes to giving new treatments to breakthrough prints, surface ornamentation and innovative silhouettes. This time too, Payal relied on her forte and brought to life two opposing prints blending in harmony and resulting in a soothing yet surreal line of Indian and fusion wear – practical silhouettes in soft textures of crepes, silks and linens. The pastel hues in the first segment of the collection gave way to jewel-toned ensembles highlighted with a bit of bling.Nonetheless, the print series won hands down for making an innovative contrast. Her signature silhouette, the racer-back choli teamed with churidar-skirt and the printed crop-choli with ghaghra-sharara pants stood-out in different renditions.
