We have to agree that the David-Posh gene pool did conjure some wonder kids. Romeo Beckham outshines his super stylish parents in Burberry’s new Christmas campaign. Watch the kid bust some moves….

The way that I live has been on loop ever since Burberry’s new ad campaign flashed in our inbox. The film is set against a theatrical London backdrop which comes alive with a troupe of impeccably dressed dancers. It reminds us of that iconic scene from Singing in the rain, with dapper gentlemen swinging their newspapers and umbrellas, and pretty girls in fluffy tulle dresses.

The star of this festive campaign is the dimple-cheeked Romeo Beckham, who is amply clad in all things Burberry. The 12-year-old plays cupid across the romanticised London streets, as he delivers the gift of love to a young couple, played by Hannah Dodds and Anders Hayward. The exclusive campaign soundtrack was written and recorded by British songwriter Ed Harcourt and is available on iTunes before its official release in December. Watch the film here:

The premiere was hosted by Christopher Bailey at Burberry’s global flagship store on 121 Regent Street. Much like his charming parents, young Romeo garnered a fan club who turned up in full support.

With this campaign that heralds the long-awaited holiday season, Burberry aims to celebrate gifting as the ultimate symbol of a connection between people. The entire range of Burberry festive gifts are available in stores and online. They include the Heritage trench coat, the cashmere scarf, men’s tailoring, women’s evening wear, and the new Burberry make-up line. A full monogramming service is available for key pieces that lets you customise bespoke gifts.
