Beauty Notebook: Red Lips

Go old Hollywood with classic red lips. Don’t forget to follow these basic rules while wearing the sultry shade.

Rule 1
Does your wine glass have more lipstick than you do? If you want to avoid lipstick on the rim of your glass, discretely lick the glass before you drink. Lipstick won’t stick to a wet rim.

Rule 2 
To keep colour off your teeth, slide your index finger between your lips once. The excess colour on the innermost part of your lips will slide out, keeping it off your pearly whites.

Rule 3
After you apply lipstick, blot it with a tissue, to avoid it from going haywire. Next, place the tissue over your lips and lightly dab on some invisible setting powder. The powder will absorb the lipstick’s excess moisture and will keep it in place.
