Text by Wyanet Vaz. Inputs by Elton J Fernandez, official make-up artist, Maybelline New York

We’re loving the fresh, natural looks showcased at New York Fashion Week. In this Beauty Notebook, Maybelline New York decodes the most noteworthy nude palette updates of the season

Naeem Khan brought out the best natural looking make-up for his show.
1.Keep skin smooth with a classic matte finish.
2.Fill in sparse brows, softly blend the eyeliner to densify the lash line.
3.Contour to enhance the cheekbones.
4.The main focus is to use lots of mascara to wake up the eyes instantly.
5.Dust Maybelline New York Nudes Palette on the eyelids, and use a soft balmy nude lipstick to clean out any discolouration.

Zimmerman girls showcased matte poreless skin with a highlight only on the inner corner of the eyes.
1.Use a clear balm to let the lips take a backseat.
2.Swipe Lash Sensational Mascara on both the upper and lower lashes.
3.Contoured well with a very light sweep of pale blush for a youthful freshness.
4.Use muted tones from the Nudes Palette around the eyes and finish with brow mascara.

Rebecca Minkoff‘s show celebrated deeper skin tones with smooth glowing radiant skin.
1.Start with a creamy highlight on cheekbones, temples and bridge of the nose.
2.Blend Maybelline New York Drama Gel Liner onto the entire eyelids, and softly into half of the inner crease. Stretch out around the outer eye in a soft easy fashion.
3.Line the lower lids with black gel liner.
4.Add a natural freshness with nude pink lipstick.

Nicole Miller’s show highlighted warm bright nude tones on the eyelids.
1.Keep the skin pale with creamy highlighter on high points of the face.
2.Use a tinted lip balm on the lips.
3.Top it up with tonnes of Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara and black gel eyeliner.
4.Keep the contouring soft, with minimal blush.
