They made sure that their portraits, court scenes, hunting escapades, stories from the Baburnama and Akbarnama, and even Indian epics were grandly portrayed by miniature painters. This style spread to other Mughal states in India, leading to centuries of intricate art.
Now
Cell phone and cushion covers, mugs and even T-shirts — you name it, and it’ll have a print of a miniature painting on it. And if you’re Internet savvy, you’ve probably seen them used in graphic strips and stories.
