Remember those boring science classes in school where we had to learn about cause and effect? A new exhibition at Tarq has eight artists get creative with the concept, making ‘feedback loops’ along the way. Artists Starlyn D’Souza, Madhavi Gore, PS Jalaja, Nirmal Kulkarni, Violeta Lisboa, Romain Loustau, Lavanya Mani and Atish Saha, in the show curated by Kanchi Mehta, work with photography, painting, sculpture and performance to track this cyclical concept. ‘Each artist has worked closely with the curator, to conceptualise and ultimately create works that while keeping the integrity of their overall practice intact, align closely with the themes of the exhibition,’ says the press note for the show.  And we thought science couldn’t be interesting.

Feedback Loop is on display at Tarq, Mumbai (F35/36, Dhanraj Mahal, Apollo Bunder, Colaba) until April 23, 2016.
