As the luxury haute horologie brand has proven with its innovative art lounges at Art Basel, Audemars Piguet constantly strives to promote creation and artistic expression. And now, at a new exhibition in China, the watchmaker takes viewers through its history, the art of watchmaking, and gives glimpses of its engagements with the world of contemporary art. Conceived by French designer Mathieu Lehanneur, featuring 200 historical and contemporary timepieces and artworks by Cheng Ran, Dan Holdsworth and Alexandre Joly, To Break the Rules, You Must First Master Them promises to highlight the milestones of the brand’s journey. Here’s the change to creatively go back in time with Audemars Piguet. This exhibition will travel to other art capitals from 2017 onward.

To Break the Rules, You Must First Master Them is on display at Yuz Museum, Shanghai (35, Feng Gu Road) until November 13, 2016
