Attakkalari India Biennial 2015
Since 2000, the Attakkalari India Biennial has been entertaining viewers with varied themes and dialogues, to encourage people in the arts. Known as South Asia’s largest international festival for contemporary dance and movement arts, it returns this year with the theme ‘Dance Connect’, and will present various forms of contemporary dance. Performances from China, Switzerland, Netherlands, UK, Germany, France, and South Asian regions, including India and Korea will be showcased at the event.
The Biennial serves as a forum for fresh ideas, and an exchange of knowledge and expertise in fields like dance, design and research. Artists from across the world will come together to share experiences, exchange ideas and explore new territories and initiate a space for creative expression through performance art.
The Attakkalari India Biennial will take place in Bengaluru from February 6 to 15, 2015.
