What’s the best way to relive memories and moments? It’s probably by going through one’s diary or even photos saved through the years. In this very vein, ace lensman Pablo Bartholomew presents a new body of works to commemorate the 60th year of his life. During the ’70s and ’80s — Bartholomew’s early years in the industry — he captured actors, writers, poets, directors, photographers and other stalwarts from the art world on camera. This rare collection of black-and-white images, which includes one of Menaka Gandhi performing on stage, and another of Lillete Dubey caught in a candid moment, is sure to evoke a sense of nostalgia.
60/60 is on display at Sakshi Gallery, Mumbai until February 21, 2016
